David Smith, CEO
Formerly Apple World Marketing Manager, responsible for Apple's global brand and a serial entrepreneur, David co-founded Silicon Valley High School in 2013 and has been acting as CEO since 2017. David is a prolific author and podcaster on startup entrepreneurship, intellectual property and business strategy. He holds a BSc. (Honors) in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Leeds, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Westminster, and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara School of Law.
Scott Jarol, CTO
Scott previously worked as CTO with David in 1997-2000 developing the leading web browser and safety service for kids. Prior to that, Scott had authored 7 best-selling books on Internet and multimedia programming. Scott has held senior positions in Amazon, Microsoft, Disney, Nintendo, HTC and Real Networks. Scott has authored and published several books on fiction . Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of Chicago and a Masters of Science on Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
